This policy explains what DesignSpark LLC ("DesignSpark", "we") collects when you use countIT and pkcountit.com, and what we do with it. countIT is a DesignSpark LLC product and part of the powerKIT suite.
Your drawings stay with you
countIT reads PDF files on your own computer. We do not upload, store, or view your drawings, markups, tag lists, or counts. Exports you create are saved where you choose.
What we collect
- Account details. Your name and email address when you create a DesignSpark account. The Free plan needs no account.
- Purchase records. Your plan, billing cycle, and license status. Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. We never see or store your card number.
- Saved settings. On paid plans, your tag patterns, typical tags, layer presets, and workspace settings sync to your account so they follow you between machines.
- Launch list. Your email address, if you ask to be notified when countIT launches.
- Basic diagnostics. App version, operating system, and crash reports, if you choose to send them.
How we use it
- To provide your license and sync your settings
- To send receipts, account notices, and product updates you asked for
- To fix bugs and improve countIT
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share only what each service needs to work: Paddle for payments and tax, Supabase for account and settings storage, and our email provider for messages you opted into. Each is bound by its own privacy and security terms.
How long we keep it
We keep account data while your account is open. Purchase records are kept as long as tax law requires. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Your choices
You can view, correct, export, or delete your account data by emailing hello@designsparkllc.com. You can unsubscribe from product emails with the link in any message. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, and we honor them for all users.
Cookies
pkcountit.com stores your light or dark theme choice in your browser. Checkout pages run by Paddle may set their own cookies to process payment.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and email account holders.
